The Tucumcari Area
Whether you are seeking refuge from a long road trip, visiting family and friends, or traveling to New Mexico on business, enjoy your visit at our amenity-rich, cozy and pet-friendly hotel. We have recently remodeled our accommodations to ensure you enjoy a satisfied stay in a warm, welcoming space. Pet lovers looking for a hotel near I-40 (formerly known as Route 66) know our hotel will happily accommodate the family’s furry friends, too. Our courteous and attentive customer service staff is always on hand to greet weary cross-country travelers, who can check in at a peaceful retreat of high quality and great value.
When you make your way to Main Street in the Historic Downtown, you will walk into a quaint and charming community with traces of what was here in past times. Check out the old buildings that once housed Crescent Creamery, Sands-Dorsey Drug, Masonic Temple, the Rock Island-Southern Pacific Train Depot, and Princess Theater. Odeon Theatre still actively serves this community; you can catch a contemporary movie in the ambient atmosphere of this retro, old-fashioned movie theater. You can also pick up some vintage Route 66 memorabilia and rare antiques at the Tucumcari Trading Post, or head to the Tucumcari Historical Museum to see hidden gems and treasures from the West’s rich history. Comb through the photos, clothing, household items, farm equipment, gaming equipment, fossils, and full train to tap into the nostalgia of America’s legends and local flair.
